HEALTH AWARENESS
The Family Youth Enrichment CDC has partnered with the University of Nevada Cooperative and our local Health Department to host fairs and clases.
Without a focus and awareness of health related issues, it is impossible to have the type of leadership this community needs now and in the future.
Our Community Health and Fun Fair initiative has been in place for more than 4 years, we have tackled the issues of health education and awareness among our children, teens and seniors.
Our purpose is to promote healthcare awareness and provide information to help families make informed decisions regarding their health care.
We educate the public on the importance of taking steps toward prevention in order to improve the overall quality of life. Given the research and advanced technology, people are living longer and coupled with health care awareness can increase the chance of having a healthier life.
COMMUNITY OUTREACH
Since our inception, the Family Youth Enrichment CDC through partnering with Three Square Food Bank and individual support has been able to assist over 1,400 families with food, clothing, and basic needs monthly.
The Family Youth Enrichment CDC is focused on the long-term issues that face our communities.
Our goal is to build our communities and provide direct relief to families and individuals.
